Bank of Finland Research

In the report completed in 2021, three internationally renowned professors of economics appraised the Bank's research and analysis activities over the past five years. This report was the fifth regular external evaluation of the Bank's research. The first evaluation was undertaken in 1999.

The evaluation covers the activities of both the Research Unit and the Bank of Finland Institute for Economies in Transition. The report evaluates both the scientific quality of the research and its importance from the point of view of the Bank's objectives. It also contains recommendations on how research activity could be further developed in the future.

Panel members in 2021: Òscar Jordà, Marco Pagano and Johanna Wallenius.
