International Monetary Fund (IMF) to present its review of the Finnish economy
The head of the International Monetary Fund’s (IMF) mission to Finland, Alex Pienkowski, will present the IMF’s concluding statement on the Finnish economy at a press conference to be held on Friday 8 November 2024 at 14:00 in the Bank of Finland auditorium, Rauhankatu 19, Helsinki.
The IMF assesses the economic health of each member country on a regular basis. During their visit to Finland, IMF staff will discuss Finland’s economy with representatives of different authorities, research institutes and other concerned parties.
The arrangements for the visit of the IMF’s mission have been made by the Bank of Finland, which is responsible for Finland’s relations with the IMF.

The press conference will be held in English.
Please be ready to present your press card and a photo ID if so requested.
