Experience our work for yourself

Since positive first experiences of working life are important to us, we offer a wide variety of opportunities for young people to experience the work of the Bank of Finland. These opportunities range from secondary schools’ work familiarisation placements (TET placements) to university internships, and from summer jobs to training programmes for recent graduates.

Each year, we offer dozens of summer jobs to students in areas such as economics, IT and security. In recent years, we have also twice arranged our Young Professionals trainee programme for recent graduates.

The annual application period for summer jobs is in January. For further information about TET placements and university internships, please contact our personnel administration.

Both the work and my colleagues have been fantastic. My supervisor has been really nice and supportive! Thanks to the great work environment I feel like I've surpassed myself and made great progress as an expert. I feel like I belong, and have really enjoyed working at the Bank!

Take a look at our summer job opportunities and previous summer job experiences in our summer jobs blog (in Finnish).
