Markku Lehmus
Head of Division
Markku Lehmus has been working at the Bank of Finland as Head of Division of the Monetary Policy and Euro Area Economy since September 2022. In his research he has developed macro models used for forecasting and policy simulation purposes and studied for instance the macroeconomic effects of taxation. In his previous career Markku Lehmus has worked as head of forecasting unit at ETLA Economic Research, senior researcher at VATT Institute for Economic Research and Labour Institute for Economic Research (Labore). He has also taught macroeconomic courses at the University of Turku and Tampere University.
