Accessibility statement

This accessibility statement applies to the websites suomenpankki.fi, rahamuseo.fi and bofit.fi. The statement was prepared on 27 January 2021. The website is governed by the Act on the Provision of Digital Services, which requires that public sector websites must be accessible. 

The accessibility of this digital service has been assessed by CGI Finland Ltd.

Accessibility of the digital service 

This online service is largely compliant with the Level A and Level AA accessibility criteria (WCAG 2.1 guidelines). The online service has some accessibility deficiencies; for a more detailed description, please see below. 

Inaccessible content of the digital service (based on WCAG criteria) 

The online service is not yet fully compliant with the accessibility criteria. 

Inaccessible content or functions:

  • There are local deficiencies in keyboard use.
  • Part of the header content gets mixed up when magnified.
  • Some of the videos do not have subtitles and/or audio description.
  • The screen reader fails to mention some of the links.
  • On the page ’Euro banknotes in pictures’, the banknote pictures do not have an alternative presentation.
  • Pages generated by PowerBI are inaccessible.

We will correct the listed deficiencies as soon as possible.
